Bobby Maharaj has been appointed the new chief executive of the Tertiary Scholarship and Loans Board.

Maharaj who is the former chief executive of the Fiji Commerce Commission has been with the TSLB since mid of June.

Board chair Dixon Seeto says Maharaj is a very experienced executive with proven success in his past roles.

Seeto says the Board is confident that his style and approach will fit extremely well with TSLB’s objectives and values.

Maharaj says TSLB is an important institution in Fiji as it facilitates and implements the Fijian Government’s policy of enabling and enhancing access to Higher Education with the overall objective of “Building a Smarter Fiji.
