The introduction of the No Drop Policy by the Land Transport Authority will assist on the improvement of some driving behaviours on our roads.

LTA spokesperson Iliesa Sokia says LTA notices that some drivers are booked for a single offence several times on a daily basis and this is a concern.

Sokia says the number of times a driver booked is also the number of traffic infringement notices issued.

“This is to allow for drivers to behave .We are in a situation where we’ve noticed a number of road related incidents occurring .Some are repeated and some are not ,it is a concern because it is due to the type of driving behaviour reckless drivers have.”

Sokia is urging members of the public to report if any driver is seen not adhering to road rules.
