May 26, 2018 6:53 pm

The Land Transport Authority will follow the new process in the Land Transport Regulation 2017, when selecting individuals that will receive the taxi permits.

LTA Board chair Vijay Maharaj says the taxi permit freeze was lifted this year and LTA is welcoming residents in Nadi and Lautoka to apply.

He says the call for taxi permit applications will attract a large number of people, but the new processes in the Land Transport Regulation will help ensure only those who qualify are considered.
