The Land Transport Authority will continue with internal investigations to identify employees who are involved in corrupt practices.

This comes after the Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption prepared a report into LTA and found irregularities in its operations.

LTA Chief Executive Officer Naisa Tuinaceva says that they will now look into the report and work towards improving their service.

’’I’m being told that all the files that are with FICAC probably about twenty percent will be processed about corruption related issues but about eighty percent of complaints received by them, allegations are all to do with bad customer service’’.

Tuinaceva says disciplinary action will be taken against those who engage in corrupt dealings and bad customer services.

He says the onus is on LTA officials to lift the standard of their service delivery to the public.
