Minister for Local Government Praveen Bala has appointed a review committee to look into the Land Transport Authority.
Bala says the committee will look into the many issues raised during public consultations on the land transportation Industry and study a report which recommends improvements.
The LTA Review Committee will be chaired by Supervisor of Election Mohammed Saneem.
He will be assisted by Lawyer Nilesh Prasad, Strategic Planning and Performance Manager from the Fiji Roads Authority Rory Garland and Senior Transport Planner from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Vinit Vishal Lal.
The four member committee is expected to provide the Minister with a thorough report to enable the government to implement effective transport administration of the industry.
