LTA October campaign

October 12, 2014 7:00 pm

The Land Transport Authority will hold a campaign this month involving the relatives of road accident victims and road accident survivors.

Relatives and survivors will take part in promoting road safety by showing placards beside the road and foretell people the circumstances surrounding road accidents.

LTA chief executive – Naisa Tuinaceva says the reason behind the initiative is for people to learn and value human lives.

“Our aim here is while people can share and talk about their testimonies and what happen in their lives we will use that as a leverage of again lifting a message of road safety to another level. It’s basically touching the emotion of the people.”

The campaign starts today.
