The Land Transport Authority’s Chief Executive Carmine Piantedosi has resigned from his position with immediate effect.

LTA Board Chair Vijay Maharaj says Piantedosi resigned due to personal and family reasons.

The outgoing chief executive is expected to leave for Australia soon.

The LTA will announce an Acting CEO in due course.

Piantedosi joined LTA in April this year.
