Most of the low lying areas of Labasa are under water.

The Boubale Road and Bridge have been under water since yesterday and is closed to all traffic.

The Deketilailai Bridge, is also under water as the current remains very strong.

The public is urged not to attempt to cross the bridge until the waters recede.

Meanwhile, water is rising at the Urata Bridge as of this afternoon.

The bridge is also under water while a portion of the road is flooded and is closed to traffic.

The Wainikoro and Nagigi flats in Savusavu are also flooded.

The Police Force is urging those living in low lying areas to expect flash flooding and to always be cautious with more rain predicting in the coming days.
