The Fiji Cane Lorry Association has handed a 14 day strike notice to the Fiji Sugar Corporation.
The Association members claim they are given second preference over the built-in trucks that are transporting mechanically harvested cane.
The members want all trucks to follow the procedure of waiting in the queue before their cane is off-loaded.
FSC executive chair Abdul Khan told FBC News last night that they will be seeking for an injunction in Court today
Khan says the strike notice – which was given yesterday – is in breach of the Sugar Industry Act.
