Lolohea sentenced to mandatory life imprisonment

Fifty-six-year-old Timoci Lolohea has been sentenced to mandatory life imprisonment with a minimum term of 18 years before a pardon can be sought.

While sentencing him, High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo said there was absolutely no need for Lolohea to kill his defacto partner.

Justice Temo said there were times when Lolohea could have gotten help with his relationship but he chose murder.

He said Lolohea will now have to pay the price for choosing murder.

Lolohea was convicted of murdering his defacto partner, Elenoa Dicovi on the March 20th at Nasilivata Road, in Nadera last year.

He has 30 days to appeal.
