Opposition MP Niko Nawaikula has made a plea to the SODELPA headquarters to find out who’s been leaking confidential information.

He’s calling on the executives to investigate and identify the person within the party who’s been leaking classified information to the public and the media.

Recently, SODELPA has made headlines in the media with a heated exchange of emails by prominent party members being made public.

Speaking to FBC News, the Veteran SODELPA MP says this has been an on-going issue and if not addressed it will severely affect the party’s reputation.

Nawaikula says the party needs to immediately investigate this matter.

“This is an ongoing problem and I think personally until that is addressed, then we will continue to have this problem and there are proper avenues for this to be addressed and it is basically to report the matter up to the channels within the party who will conduct the investigation.”

Nawaikula says there has been on-going discussions about the issue and it’s about time the party leadership takes action.

It’s believed the matter will be an important point of discussion at the Party’s Annual General Meeting next month.
