Lawyer Aman Ravindra Singh has lodged an official complaint on allegations of torture involving his colleagues.

The report was lodged at the Lautoka Police Station this afternoon.

Singh claims that members of the security forces tortured two people close to him last month because of his involvement in sedition cases which are currently before the courts.

Acting Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho has given his assurance that a thorough investigation will be conducted.
