A 6 year sentence of an accused convicted of robbing a carrier driver in 2008 in Lautoka has dismissed by the Supreme Court.

Saula Lalagavesi told the Court that the sentence was heavy and unreasonable.

He disputed the Police evidence at his trial.

But Judges of the Supreme Court ruled the evidence given in Lalagavesi’s trial were credible and dismissed his appeal.
