The Fiji Sugar Corporation is now looking at when the Lautoka and the Rarawai Sugar Mill should end the 2015 crushing season.

F S C Executive Chair-ABDUL KHAN told FBC News, the most important thing at present is to see all harvestable cane be harvested and crushed.

However Khan says there is indication that both the sugar mills are expected to end crushing towards the end of this month.

KHAN says a submission will be made to the Sugar Industry Tribunal first before the Tribunal will fix the closing dates for the two mills.

The Labasa Sugar Mill stopped crushing last Wednesday while the Penang Sugar Mill stopped earlier on in the week.
