13 District Representatives or Mata ni Tikina’s who are members of the Lau Provincial Council meeting have expressed their appreciation to government.

Lau province has a total of 13 tikina representatives representing 72 villages in the province.

A meeting was held on Wednesday with the Commissioner Eastern Luke Moroivalu at the chiefly island.

Representatives from Yadrana District, Moala Tikina, Totoya District and other Tikina representatives acknowledged the assistance in the areas of agriculture, development, solar power and communications through Telecom Fiji.

The Lau Provincial Council meeting which was opened yesterday by the Assistant Minister for iTaukei Affairs Adi Selai Adimaitoga will end on Saturday.
