An eight percent increase has been recorded in applications across all categories for the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.

Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association, President, Dixon Seeto says this shows the level of interest in attaining an award.

“We are inviting applications and following on the success of the 2017 ANZ FETA we are hoping the next one in partnership with ANZ and our other sponsors will be an even greater event that we have already seen an increase in enquiries and entries coming through.”

Seeto says this year’s event will focus on recognizing those who are lifting the customer service standards.

The award will be held on February 16th next year at the Sofitel Resort and Spa on Denerau Island, Nadi.
