“As you know we have been experiencing really bad weather and we are expecting this project to be completed before the end of this year. The only aspect that is left to be completed in Laqere is the parking area.”

Kumar says the new market will provide a safe environment for both consumers and vendors.

The market will have 400 vendors, a fish market and disable friendly provisions.

Priority will be given to those vendors who are selling on roadsides.
