Residents in Veisari, Uduya point and Wailekutu area outside Lami are without power following a massive landslide in Veisari this morning.

FEA Acting Chief Executive Bobby Naimawi says the Fiji Roads Authority had requested power outage to enable them to clear the landslide off the Queens highway at Veisari.

FEA confirms that power will be restored depending on the progress by FRA contractors.

Motorists are advised to take extreme caution while travelling in these conditions and to drive slowly.
