The Namosi Provincial Council has confirmed their full support for the work that’s to be carried out by mining company Namosi Joint Venture.
This has been confirmed to FBC News by Council Chairman Ratu Romanu Matanitobua who says all 5 tikinas of Namosi have rendered their support.
Differences have risen in the past amongst villagers in Namosi with regards to the work that was being carried out by the mining company.
This forced the company to put their work on hold.
Yesterday NJV Country Manager Greg Morris, while opening the Namosi Provincial Council gave his assurances that there won’t be any relocation of villagers.
