The Fiji Roads Authority will be carrying out the final road work in Lami from tomorrow until Saturday morning.

The road work will start from 9am till 3pm tomorrow.

Chief Executive, Jonathan Moore says work will resume tomorrow evening after the peak hour period from 7 pm through to mid-morning on Saturday.

The road will be reduced to a single lane and full traffic management will be present on-site to guide motorists.

Moore says the final work will bring to an end several weeks of rehabilitation on the arterial road, which has caused frustration and delays for motorists at times.

However, he says once the project is complete – the improved road will provide a more comfortable and safer journey to motorists, with more visible signage and road markings.
