Lami Bridge to reduce to a single lane from tonight

The Lami Bridge along Queens Road in Suva will be reduced to a single lane from 9pm to 5.30am daily starting from tonight.
Fiji Roads Authority chief executive, Jonathan Moore says maintenance to the bridge bearing pads involve temporary jacking and support under the bridge beams.
Moore says as a consequence, the Bridge will be temporarily reduced to a single lane until July 28th.
He adds full traffic management will be present on site to guide motorists safely through the site.
The Authority says minor traffic delays are expected and travelers must take this notice into account when finalising nightly travel plans.
