Due to road repair and maintenance, the Lami Bridge has been reduced to one lane.

Lami Town Special Administrator, Jasper Singh says this has restricted movement for residence.

“The Fiji Roads Authority gave an advanced notice to the Lami residence and the business community ensuring they were aware that they have to leave early if they want to reach their destination on time. The good part is that they have assured us that today it will be completed and everything will be back to normal. We do support them in doing their work and it’s better to be safe than sorry.”

Singh has requested all road users to travel slightly before time to avoid being late.
