January 29, 2018 1:24 am

The first 40 units of the Lagilagi Housing project’s second phase are expected to be handed over to their respective tenants in the next two weeks.

People’s Community Network National Director, Semiti Qalowasa says the remaining units in Phase two is still on hold due to financial constraints.

“For the 36 that will be depending on the government funding and also the payment from the people who are occupying phase one, so we are looking at April or May 2018 to open those ones, its nearly completed.”

Phase two comprises of 76 three and two bedroom houses.

PCN has so far received more than 200 applications from prospective tenants who wish to occupy the 76 units.
