The rehabilitation of a badly damaged road in Labasa by the Fulton Hogan Hiways has been welcomed by government workers, school children and residents.

Bulileka road is located five kilometres outside of Labasa has not been maintained for over six years.

The twenty-seven km road is almost completed with two-thirds already sealed.

Apart from the five hundred residents that live along Bulileka the road is the main access for school children who attend Bulileka Primary School.

The road is expected to be completed by next year.
