The Labasa Chamber of Commerce expects the 2018/2019 budget to be a very good one.

Chamber President, Satish Kumar says they are expecting a lot of incentives and good news for the people of the North.

This he says would be in the announcement of major road upgrades as well as the construction of a bypass that will help ease the traffic congestion in Labasa Town – which is long overdue.

Kumar says they expect more incentives to be announced for investors to come to the North to help create jobs and grow the economy.

He adds, cane farmers should also get more incentives as they are the backbone of the economy in Labasa.
