Forgive and forget.

This was the message conveyed by Local Government Minister Parveen Kumar while officiating during the Eid Celebration at the Ba market today.

Kumar told those present in Ba, that Eid was an opportune time to let go of the past.

“So take this opportunity to forgive and forget all those you have dealt with there must have been some misunderstanding or enmity and this gives an opportunity for you to forgive and forget.”

Kumar also says the Local Government ministry is encouraging all City and Town Councils to celebrate the various festivals.

He adds that Fijians are lucky to have many festivals they can celebrate together.
