Kula film awards to benefit students

Director of FNU’s UniStudio Campus Ravi Malik says the Fiji Film industry is doing a great job in tapping the talent from the schools in both film and performing arts.

Malik made the statement after the FNU Kula Film Awards last night in Suva.
He described the awards night as excellent.

“FNU and Fiji Film, we will be doing Fiji Kula Film Awards for years to come. Why we know that my students, those who pass out from FNU will find the job outlet only from Fiji Film."

FNU is anticipating producing four feature films next year with at least one of them to take out one of the international awards.

Dr Maliks ays with nine production companies from India coming to Fiji next year, students graduating this year will get a chance to be attached to one of the companies.
