Kubuabola to address UN General Assembly

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will not attend the 61st Session of the UN General Assembly Meeting in New York.

A statement from the PM’s Office this afternoon states – this is due to pressing domestic matters.

Instead Fiji’s Foreign Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola will address the General Assembly on Fiji’s behalf.

Kubuabola is also expected to hold other meetings while there.
