Kubuabola meets with EU HOM's

Fiji’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola met with the European Union Heads of Missions yesterday.

Minister Kubuabola updated the delegation on the recent work and activities of the Ministry with relation to Fiji’s Participation at the Pacific Islands Development Forum, Pacific Island Forum and the United Nations General Assembly.

At the forefront of the discussions was the issue of climate change which has transcended through all the recent meets.

European Union Ambassador to the Pacific, Andrew Jacobs said he was glad with the progress and momentum gained in the region in preparation for the 21st Conference of Parties (COP 21) that will be held in Paris in November this year.

Minister Kubuabola highlighted to the Delegation that Fiji will be formalizing its Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) in preparation for COP 21.
