Kubuabola leads Fiji delegation to Georgia

The Minister of Defence and National Security Ratu Inoke Kubuabola has arrived in Georgia for the Ministerial bilateral visit culminating to the signing of the Security Memorandum of Understanding between Fiji and Georgia.
The Minister for Internal Affairs Georgia Giorgi Gakharia is hosting the Fijian delegation from 23 – 28 September 2018.
Fiji has long standing relations with Georgia in the area of medical cooperation.
Currently, there are nine (9) Fijian medical students studying in Georgia.
The official programme begins today where Minister Kubuabola and the Fijian delegation will meet with the Minister for Defence, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Speaker of Parliament and Head of Security Services apart from visits to other significant places around Georgia including the State Military Scientific technical centre.
Kubuabola is accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Fiji Police Force.
The delegation returns on 29 September, 2018.
