Six hundred and ninety nine micro and small businesses in Bua received their one thousand dollars grant from government this morning.

This is the 29th phase of disbursement with the total Government investment of $688.592.

Minister for Industry and Trade Faiyaz Koya says so far the government has invested a total of $15.9 million.

Koya says formal MSMEs contribute up to 60 percent of total employment and up to forty percent of national income (GDP) in emerging economies.
