Trade Minister Faiyaz Koya has labelled comments from politicians criticising the Micro and Small Business (MSB) grant disbursement as ludicrous.

Koya says when politicians criticise the assistance given by government, it simply means they do not want the grass root people to be assisted.

He has also rubbished claims that the grant disbursement is a vote buying technique.

Koya says the MSB Scheme started in 2015 straight after the 2014 general election, is still running now and will continue to run.

He adds, these politicians should fight about issues rather than what has already been achieved.
