Koro Island is making a comeback in the 2018 Vodafone Kaji Rugby tournament after two years since Tropical Cyclone Winston wreaked havoc on the island.
Team Coordinator Iliesa Vonu says they are coming prepared to the tournament this time to unfold the raw talents and to showcase their skills on the rugby field.
“Our main aim is to come and know each other, to know other students in other districts and to expose their raw talents.”
Fifty-eight ruggers will feature in their under- 12, 13 and 14 categories.
Their under 12 and 13 teams will face Gau in the Tier Two competition tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
The main Kaji rugby tournament kicks off next Monday and ends on Wednesday at the same venue.
