Fiji has an ambitious goal on renewable energy and its efforts to fight climate change.

Korean Ambassador to Fiji Shinhee CHO echoed these sentiments during her courtesy visit to the Minister of Forestry Osea Naiqamu.

CHO says her government also considers climate change and renewable energy as important issues and she believes there is a great potential to widen the cooperation in these areas between the two countries.

She is hoping to hold more meetings as such in the future which will result in more tangible outcomes.

On the political and economic side, CHO views Fiji as a very dynamic country with noticeable progress and development.
