Former Permanent Secretary for Public Enterprises David Kolitagane has been appointed as Permanent Secretary for Agriculture.

Kolitagane was appointed by the Public Service Commission with the agreement of Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

He will also continue to serve in his role as Acting Permanent Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport concurrently until further notice.

Meanwhile, former PS Agriculture Jitendra Singh has been appointed as Permanent Secretary for Public Enterprises following the withdrawal of his resignation earlier this month.

These appointments take effect immediately.
