Kinoya shopkeeper still in hospital

A 31-year-old man, who allegedly attacked a 33-year-old woman in her shop in Kinoya two months ago, was not in court today.

It is alleged that on 9th May, Jiuta Moroca punched Lin Li Sheng continuously with his fist until she fell unconscious and allegedly stole $2,000.

In court today the State lawyer, Meli Vosawale says they are still waiting for the medical report of the complainant, who has not fully recovered from the serious injuries.

Moroca is charged with an act intended to cause grievous harm and robbery.

A pre-trial conference will be heard on the 2nd of September, this year.
