Kim Beddoes scooped the top title of Business woman of the Year at the Women in Business awards in Suva last night.
Beddoes congratulated all the women finalists saying they’re an inspiration to their communities and societies by encouraging other women to step up.
She says she wouldn’t have received the top honors if it wasn’t for the strong support from her family, friends and her business team of seven years.
Beddoes also took the time last night to congratulate and wish all women candidates that will contest this year’s General election.
“A very big thank you and congratulations to every single female candidate in every single party for having the courage to stand up and be counted and become leaders of the nation.”
Beddoes is the Managing Director of Fiji Weddings based in Nadi – a brand of sports and events management.
Meanwhile, other awards included Aspiring Entrepreneur of the Year – Keshvi Sukhul, Manager of the Year – Rachael Romko, Executive Manager of the Year for the private sector – Lailani Burns, Executive Woman of the Year for Public Sector – Raijeli Taga, Private sector Executive woman of the year – Karen Lobendhan and Excellence and Commitment special award – Lorainne Seeto.
