Kautoga crowned Miss Friendly North

Miss Northern Civil Service Alita Kautoga was last night crowned the new Miss Friendly North 2019.
Kautoga beat nine other contestants to take the crown in a packed Subrail Park.
Speaking after her crowning, the 23-year-old teacher urged the people of Labasa to work towards keeping the environment clean.
Throughout the week-long carnival, Kautoga was advocating on a plastic-free North and cleaner oceans.
Earlier in the week, Kautoga had taken out the best research title and was also the first runner up to the Miss Charity title.
Miss Labasa Hospital 22-year-old Intern Staff Nurse Sweta Chand was the first runner up.
Earlier in the day she took out the Miss Photogenic title and had earlier won Best Sarong during the week.
Chand was advocating for a pollution-free Labasa Town.
Miss Fiji Sugar Corporation Latileta Waqaca was crowned Miss Charity, for having raised over $20,000 in the carnival.
Miss Northern Charity Alliance Adi Leniana Moroka was crowned Miss Personality.
