National 7s rep Isake Katonibau has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court with strict conditions.

He has been released on one thousand dollars cash bail and five thousand dollars personal bail bond with two sureties.

Katonibau, is facing serious assault charges.

It is alleged that in the early hours of June 17th, the thirty-five-year-old assaulted Special Police Constable, Peni Verekauta on Carnavon Street in Suva.

The matter has been adjourned to August 13th.
