Strong winds and heavy rain is still being experienced on the village of Vunisea in Kadavu.

Police officer Vaikuru Sawalu told FBC News those students at Vunisea Secondary school have been all evacuated to a classroom for safety and has been activated as an evacuation centre.

Sawalu also says that a few crops have been damaged and uprooted and village Headman’s are on high alert.
