Justin Ho's bail hearing to be heard this afternoon

The bail hearing for an alleged airline drug smuggler will be called in the next hour at the Lautoka High Court.

Justin Ho who appeared this morning is alleged to have without lawful authority facilitated in exporting two parcels weighing more than 2kg of cocaine and illicit drugs on December 23rd, last year.

It’s also alleged on the same day, the 28-year-old along with an accomplice engaged in the dealing for the transfer, transport, supply, use, manufacture, and sale of cocaine and illicit drugs.

The DPP today informed the court that they have responded to the bail application.

Justin Ho’s lawyer Wasu Pillay then asked the court if they could go through the DPP’s application and have the case called in the afternoon.

Ho is charged with one count of unlawful importation and exportation.

He’s also facing one count of Unlawful possession, manufacture, cultivation, and supply contrary to Section 5(b) of the Illicit Drugs Control Act 2004.
