High Court Judge, Justice Vincent Perera will today sum up the case of a 38-year old man who allegedly raped his 12-year-old niece last year.
The man is charged with one count of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The alleged offence occurred in Suva, April 2016.

It is alleged the 12-year-old’s complainant’s mother was looking after the accused’s wife who suffered a stroke when the alleged incident happened.
The 12-year-old and her mother moved out of the house after the alleged incident.
The case will be heard this afternoon.
