Japan reaffirms it's commitment to Fiji

Japanese Ambassador Masahiro Omura has re-affirmed Japan’s commitment to Fiji.

This comes after Omura through the Japanese government gave over $161 thousand dollars for a new garbage truck for the Lautoka City Council.

Omura says committing to many developments work in Fiji is the key to Japan’s cooperation with the Fijian government.

“It is my honour to re-affirms Japan’s commitment to providing continued assistance for the sustainable development of Fiji. I conclude with confidence will further strengthen friendship between the people and government of Japan and Fiji”

The Japanese government has given their assurance that it will continue to provide assistance to communities and municipalities to create a healthier environment.
