Japan provides emergency relief assistance in aftermath of TC Winston

The Government and people of Japan are the latest aid donors in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Japan is providing emergency relief supplies such as tents, sleeping pads, plastic sheets and generators worth over 320,000 FJD through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The Government of Japan will continue to discuss with the Government of the Republic of Fiji, its wider assistance for the restoration and recovery of Fiji including utilization of grant aid worth 300 million Japanese Yen which is equivalent to approximately 2.67 million USD and totaling to over 5 million FJD.
