Jack’s of Fiji moving towards cashless society

In an effort to promote a cashless society, Jacks of Fiji and Vodafone Fiji have partnered to offer people an option of paying for items through the M-Paisa QR.

Jacks of Fiji Group Marketing Manager Rupesh Kumar says this is an initiative the company is driving at all their stores for cashless payments.

Kumar says cashless payments through mobile phones is fast becoming the new and fashionable way to pay.

He also says that handling cash in the business has many associated risk.

Vodafone Fiji Head of Enterprise Development Antonio Kitione says they are delighted to partner with Jack’s of Fiji as M-Paisa QR is the future.

Kitione says currently there are 350 outlets that are offering this service and 35 registered merchants.
