Investigation into the cause of a fire which destroyed a two storey building in Nawaka Tramline, Nadi, on Friday continues.

The property belonging to fifty-eight-year-old Mansoor Ali, a businessman of Nadi was destroyed with all its contents.

Police say the victim was alone at home, when he could smell smoke coming out from the ground floor.

The total value of damage is estimated at five hundred thousand dollars.
