Investigation into Grace Road church founder continues

Investigation continues into the allegations of assault and confinement against the Grace Road Church Founder Shin Ok-ju and three other church leaders.

Appearing at the prosecutions office in North Korea last week, Ok-ju is charged with several offenses which include the incarceration of 400 of her churches followers who reportedly had their passports seized on arrival in Fiji along with all their belongings.

FBC News understands the Grace Road Church has had a long history with controversy, in 2015 the Korean Presbyterian Church officially defined Pastor Ok-ju’s organisation as a cult.

Meanwhile, Fijian Police began preliminary investigations into the Grace Road Church Founder last week after being contacted by the Korean authorities.
