Investigations are continuing into the alleged assault of a Lautoka internet café owner, Rajneel Singh.

Chief of Investigations, ACP Henry Brown says the Cyber Crime Unit is working on emails found on a computer in Singh’s internet shop which allegedly had plots to destabilize the government.

Acting Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho has said the investigation is sensitive in nature and will take some time to complete.

He is urging the public not to speculate on the outcomes or the contents of the emails.

The Internal Affairs Unit is also continuing investigations into the alleged assault.
