Speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Malta, Bainimarama said this has been the mainstay of the reform program undertaken by his government.

Bainimarama says this revolution cost Fiji its place in the Commonwealth for 5 years and fractured some of Fiji’s traditional relationships.

However, Bainimarama says Fiji makes no apology for it because the country that has emerged from that process of radical change is one of genuine opportunities for every Fijian.
