“Saving a woman can help save the nation.”

These are the words of the Indonesian Minister for Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, Professor Dr Yohana Susana Yembise during the Women in Business Forum in Suva today.

“So I think when we come here, we are ready to share with you to share information and experiences because you have a small number of people, women here but i want to remind you, When we save one woman, we save the nation.”

The Indonesian minister says her country is ready to help in advocating for and supporting the empowerment of all Fiji Women Entrepreneurs.

Fijian Minister for Women, Rosy Akbar says women are very capable business owners and leaders and thier contribution needs to be appreciated.

Akbar says the Fijian Government is committed to women realizing their full potential and has committed funds to the Ministry. This will allow women to develop their skill and be able to contribute to the national economic growth.
